Following a rousing game of Cranium (yeah, I was on the winning team with my mom), I read a bit more of Bird Dog, then went to bed before midnight. After sleeping in a bit (finally!), we all had breakfast, then went for a nice long walk through the protected wetlands, to the beach. From there, we went on back up towards the Mashpee State Beach, and then wandered back home. I had split off from the rest of the gang, and ended up taking a slightly longer route to get back to the house. As it was a beautiful day, though, I certainly didn’t mind. Total distance walked, probably about 8 miles or so. (I’m guessing, but that sounds about right.)
