Dan Movie Reviews

Went with J—-n back to MGM to see Evelyn, Pierce Brosnan’s dramatic turn as Desmond Doyle, an Irish father whose children are taken away from him after their mother runs off. Based on the true story about the case that changed Irish Family Law in the 1950s, the film was warm low-budget fare, that succeeded in telling the story in an interesting and engaging way, but didn’t quite tug at the heartstrings as much as it should have. If you wanna see Brosnan this winter, I think we know the film you should see him in. But still, for a rather predictable warm-and-fuzzy movie, check it out.
