Hmm. Where to even start? I suppose the best part of the film was the beginning sequence, and it went rapidly downhill from there. 2 Fast 2 Furious is not the type of film that is going to impress you with its high quality of acting, dialogue, or plot. I’m not even going to bother writing up too much about this film – that’s how bad it was. Oh, certainly I’ve seen worse. But come on – this is just a mess. Yeah, the car chases are cool and even exciting at times. But the rest of it is truly laughable. Even more laughable is Paul Walker’s wooden performance, but as he said he “has his franchise”. Good for him. Good lord. David Arnold wrote about 60 minutes of score, but I cannot for the life of me figure out where it all went. And what was in the film was mixed so low it was hard to hear it under the other sounds. Bleh. My suggestion: go see Finding Nemo again, instead of this one.
