Tonight I went to a screening of Bare Down, which was directed by my friend and ex-L3i co-worker Steve Dieveney. The documentary (hosted by Bo Derek) focuses on two professional bull riders, as they try to make their way to the top. It’s a candid and eye-opening look at what these men endure as they ride. Injuries, failure, money problems – it’s all part of the game. Produced in part by the Professional Bull Riders Association, the film was shot on DV, so it had that smooth video look to it – but it was still an impressive piece of work on Steve’s part, and the music (all songs) really helped drive it along. Kudos!!
