Ilana and I went to Mother India, a delicious Indian restaurant in Waltham near her apartment. We had a really great talk, and then afterwards we met up with the rest of the family at J.P. Licks, for some ice cream. From there, the five of us went out to the AMC Chestnut Hill to see Pirates of the Caribbean, which Ilana hadn’t seen – but the rest of us had. (It’s rare that my parents would want to see anything more than once!) The film was still a lot of fun, but it reminded me how lucky I am to see films in Los Angeles – the presentations are just soooo much better! By the time it ended, it was after 12:30am, and definitely time to go to bed.
