Unlike some people, I have not been barred from attending any Jerry Goldsmith scoring sessions. So, it was with much excitement and delight that, through director Joe Dante, I was able to attend the scoring session for Goldsmith’s score to Looney Tunes: Back in Action today at Todd AO in Studio City. I must remain hush-hush on the details, but let’s just say that this score has hit the nail on the head stylistically. Raymond Scott’s “Powerhouse” will have new life after this one! Look for more later, if and when I’m able to say so. 😉
