Yet another reason iTunes sucks: I forgot to turn off “Keep My Library Organized” when I got home, and it rewrote a good portion of the albums I had digitized today, into ONE directory, all under “Unknown Artist / Unknown Album”. Crap. The only place now that has all the pertinant data is at work, so I am there now, re-allocating the files. But I have to do so one at a time, and let it “find” each file, individually. Gah!!!! As for the hard drive, I’ve wiped the music drive, and am copying the files back over. So at least when I get home, I’ll be back up to speed – with the exception of those 155 albums I need to redo. Bleh.
