I’ve been accepted into the PGA! No, not the Professional Golf Association…. rather, the Producers Guild of America! I’m now a member of their New Media division, because of the web content and stuff that I’ve been producing. Woohoo!
Now, I suppose you’re wondering what makes this so exciting? Well, I get to vote for the Producers Guild Awards. They help determine what is eligible for the “Best Film” Oscar. Also, I get Academy screeners, and screenings around award season. Not to mention, it is a good community to be a part of, and there are a lot of talented people there, with some great connections. So this is a very good thing! Yay!
