I like Michael Giacchino’s music. He writes really good stuff, and what I heard at today’s scoring session at Fox for The Family Stone was a lot of fun too. It’s a quirky romantic comedy with a pretty impressive cast, and because it takes place during the holidays, there were sleighbells. No, not cowbell (sadly). But sleighbells are the next best thing! Seems that between this and the “Tom and Jerry” session last week, I’m Michael’s new PR guy. But as I told him, if he wrote crap, I’d be sure to tell him. He just writes really good music! Luke Wilson (who is in the movie) showed up too. Now I wonder if Rachel McAdams will show up? I think I’ll come back Thursday afternoon.
