The Legend of Zorro

Dan Goldwasser Movie Reviews

It just struck me that I didn’t even write a review of The Legend of Zorro, the sequel to the 1998 Mask of Zorro. But there’s a reason for that. And this entry is gonna be short.

Where the original film was PG-13, and had a sense of peril, fun action, sexy romance, and energy, this PG-rated film panders to the younger crowd. As a result, it’s lame, jokey, “safe action”, and filled with an absurd plot and horrible visual effects. Even the stunts are yawn-inducing. And it runs long – over 2 hours!

Save your money. Save your time. Watch the 1998 film instead.
