Seems like I’m the only journalist cleared by composer James Newton Howard to do an article related to his score for King Kong. Not going to talk about the music – my approach is one from the technology side, to talk about the enormous connectivity they’ve implemented between the scoring stage in Culver City, JNH Studios in Santa Monica, and Peter Jackson’s offices in New Zealand.
