What better way to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Star Wars than to watch two of the crappiest prequels, with a dash of "Mystery Science Theater 3000"? I refer, of course, to Mike Nelson’s RiffTrax. These MP3s are played in sync with the DVD, and it’s like watching a MST3K episode, but for a more recent film! Indeed, the jokes range from lame snicker-worthy to outright hilarity – and the Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones has them coming fast and furious. Alcohol helped.
Update 5/30/2007 9:34pm: Just watched the Top Gun RiffTrax with a friend. Not as good as the Episode II one, but pretty funny at times. Will probably do The Matrix next….
