First full day in Haifa was rather low key – after breakfast at the hotel, went to my sister’s place, where we all just hung out and relaxed. After everyone came back home (and my older niece was picked up from pre-school), things got a little more tumultuous. Complicating things is the face that my niece understands English, but doesn’t speak any of it. So I have no idea what she’s saying even though she’s speaking quite a bit. It’s a disconnect that makes things a little confusing, to say the least, but we seem to manage. We ordered in for dinner (pizza and salads), which hit the spot, especially since I hadn’t had lunch! Everyone konked out around 10pm, so, early bedtime! (That’s ok, since I was pretty tired too!)
