Tonight I went with Justin to the Buena Vista Home Video Blu-Ray event for the release of Pixar’s Cars and Ratatouille. It was a great time, with such folks as John Lasseter, Brad Bird, Michael Giacchino, John Ratzenberger, Brian Dennehy, Cheech Marin and more, all in attendance. After an opening cocktail reception (with kickass Kobe Beef Sliders) they opened up “Gusteau’s” for dinner. The food was awesome – totally gourmet, and an open bar. It’s funny – for all the industry events I’ve attended, it’s always Disney that throws the bashes with the most alcohol. Love it! As parting gifts, they gave us Ratatouille on DVD – yay!
