I headed out from Abbey Road, and headed over to The Hospital, which is not actually a medical facility, but rather a members-only club that also houses a few studio spaces, which is home-base for the music team. After hanging for a bit, Stephen and Meri and I headed out to dinner. We went to an Indian restaurant called Moti Mahal. While we were waiting to be seated, we were at the bar, where I had “The Alchemist” – Fresh pear and mint, muddled and shaken with Zubrovka, Crème d’Abricot, and elderflower cordial, then topped with ginger ale. It was like a Mojito, and very very good. The sister restaurant of Moti Mahal in Delhi claims to have actually invented Chicken Tikki Masala, so it was only fitting that amongst the selected dishes we get, we get that one. Called “Murg Makhani”, it was easily the best Indian food I’ve ever had in my life. I’m definitely coming back here next time I’m in London.
