Flight to Seattle

Dan Goldwasser Seattle

Virgin America has great customer service. The ‘Red’ In-Flight Entertainment System wasn’t working properly on my row, which was a bit of a drag. No power in the power outlet, and no sound coming out of the headphone jack.  The flight attendant was incredibly apologetic and offered us anything we wanted, free of charge.  That meant, free alcohol/meals/snacks/etc., which was really great of her, and I only took advantage of that for the fruit & cheese plate, which would work as a late lunch and hold me over until dinner.

The flight itself was uneventful – just about two hours to fly there, and we took off a little late. The ‘Red’ system itself was pretty nice, and I found myself playing Mah-Jongg for most of the flight while I listened to music on my iPod.
