Woke up early this morning (7:30am!) to get up and ready so I could work my way uptown to meet Sean and Shira for breakfast at H&H Bagels. I got there a little before 9am, and realized when I arrived that this particular location – the factory on 46th Street – didn’t really have much of a storefront with service; sure you could buy delicious bagels, but they wouldn’t even toast – or slice – them. We had to buy …
Nob Hill / Drinks at The Fairmont and Top of the Mark
After wandering around the Fisherman’s Wharf area, we drove back to the hotel, and then decided to walk the short distance to Nob Hill. It was only a few blocks, but it sure was steep, so it took a little time. But you could get neat pix like this: By the time we got to the InterContinental Mark Hopkins Hotel, we were definitely in need of a drink. So we all relaxed and drank, and then when everyone came down, we hopped in the car and drove down to Lower Broadway. We found some …
Flying Fish
After the session, I went with Jason and the Alex, the audio director, into Seattle for dinner. We parked near Pike Place, and walked around a little bit to check it out – the weather was absolutely gorgeous, but since it was early evening, the fish market wasn’t open and so I didn’t see any fish tossing. I did see the oldest running Starbucks, and a few beatniks, though! We tried to go eat at The Pink Door, but the …
