We got to the Tenerife Norte airport just before 6am, and there was a large crowd gathered outside – apparently the terminal didn’t even open until 6! When it did open, there was a bit of a mad rush to get in line at the various counters, and we then had to wait for the Iberia counter to open. Chicago to Madrid to Tenerife
After a relaxed break in Chicago, I flew on Iberia Airlines to Madrid. It’s an 8 hour long flight, and for the most part it was fine – I just relaxed with my iPod, and even got some sleep.
